Ending that would have been better than the season 7 ending:
We learn that, a few weeks after House and Cuddy got together, Cuddy’s evil twin, Juddy, kidnapped Cuddy and took her place, which explains why Cuddy was so OOC this season.
In the season finale, House finally realizes Juddy is not Cuddy, liberates Cuddy and kill Juddy by running into her house. House and Cuddy celebrate by taking a vacation together at the beach.

PERSONALLY I WAS PULLING FOR HOUSE TO FINALLY AT LONG LAST REVEAL AND SUBSEQUENTLY JUMP THE BONES OF HIS TRUE LOVE

House should reach complete rock bottom, as in the point of no return, where he’s dying. Then he can start hallucinating Amber & Kutner again. Then when he’s on his death bed, Stacey, Cameron, & Cuddy all come back. That way we’re all happy in the end. The entire cast is back.
